HBL8451UC/01 Bosch wall oven, third board, still random events

I have a Bosch HBL8451UC/01 30" wall oven. It was a direct replacement for a previous 800 series model we put in when we remodeled the kitchen 3 years ago. We went with all Bosch appliances...regretting that decision...but for now, I'll just focus on the wall oven.

After 2 years of usual performance, the oven starting acting strange. It would randomly shut down during preheats...sometime shut down during regular baking. Other times it would work just fine. Oven mode didn't make a difference. At other times, it would act as though someone just hit the "conv bake" button, flashing 325...waiting for you to press enter to initiate preheat (even though no one is in the oven).

So...I figured this was something bad happening with the control board...pretty much all there is to this unit.

I ordered a replacement board from Bosch, about $175 and installed the board. For a week or so it appeared to function just fine...however, at some point the oven would no longer engage heating (just the 2 tone this isn't working sound) unless the lights were turned on...either by opening the door or my a button press...then, you can bake, broil, whatever you want. Then about 4 weeks ago, the display panel went dark. Buttons would make the 2 tone sound, but nothing would turn on. It required 2x cycles at the breaker, and it would light back up and it would work...again with the "light on" caveat. It happened again 2 weeks ago, so I called Bosch and asked to RMA the board.

Got a new board. Working well day 1. No more "light on" necessary. Next day, tried to preheat to 350, display indicated preheating, however, never heard a relay click and nothing happened...no heating. Lights also would not work at all. Power cycled, came back to normal function. About and hour later, the phantom button presses started.

Never seen an error code, even in service mode.

So...I think I have a ghost.

But I'm up for any other suggestions. The 3 "bosch" guys in our area have horrible reviews, and its never fun when you can't recreate the event.

Thanks for the read!

FE710DRS Samsung Electric Range bake element wire burnt

last August I had a lightening strike and my red wire to the lower heating element was burnt. A repairman replaced the connector and the stove worked until about 3 weeks ago. I just pulled the back panel from the stove, and the red wire is burnt again. What can be causing this problem and how can I check what is causing the problem? What can I do to correct this problem

Jenn Air electric range problems

Seeking help. A couple of things wrong with this range. 1) display does not work, yet oven will heat 2) door does not latch...is this normal? 3) no error code seen, as no display

Is it only clock/display required, or control board??? Thanks in advance for any help

Dacor DRT336SLP Gas Cooktop - Broken Igniter

The igniter on one of my dual burners has broken in two, and the piece still attached gives a spark too low to ignite the gas. I cannot find any information or videos on how to remove it to install a new one. Has anyone got experience with this model that can tell me the procedure? Thanks.

Amana oven problems. No spark ignition bake or broil.

Hello,

I have an Amana agr5630bdb1 oven and for some reason the oven and broiler's spark ignition does not activate. The stove top burners ignite without any issues. The gas is on and the oven is only about 4 years old. I ran a diagnostic on the display and it did not give me a code. I believe it read CLR which according to the manual was ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

John

LDG3031ST Taking too long to heat + Error f19

Double oven, propane. My lower oven has started to take a long time heating up and also has thrown the code F19 four times in the last week. I was thinking about replacing the igniter. Is there any way to test or know for sure? Thanks

GE Oven fails intermittently

Replaced lower igniter oven still only works intermittently.
Igniter glows but gas doesn't come on.
Works one night, doesn't work the next.
I have ordered the broiler igniter (same p/n) thinking maybe they were both weak and that might be a problem...?
If this doesn't work what then?? Control board?

LRG3085ST won't heat

I asked this in another thread with a similar problem, but thought it might be better to post it's own thread. I have a gas range, it will always preheat, but most of the time it will lose temperature, never gets too hot. The display will continue to show the desired temp, say 400, but if you turn it off and back on it will show 200, or whatever the actual temp is. At that point it will not heat back up. It seems to only preheat again after reaching room temp. I have replaced the thermostat and the oven worked as it should a couple of times (coincidence I'm sure), but it's back to the exact same problem.

HBL5055AUC Bosch Error code F04

How to get the lower oven out of the tin frame to access the door lock mechanism? The tin frame is already outside of the built in cabinets. Thanks.

Oven automatically goes into bake mode

Hello - My electric double-stack Maytag oven ( MEW6627DDS ) goes into bake mode by itself. The top unit has done this twice, bottom unit is fine. Can someone point me to the source of the problem?
Thanks,
John

Finding parts ID list for a vintage electric stove.

I normally don't have trouble finding a parts identification list for appliances online but this one is quite old and I am having trouble. Do any of your have access or can point me to a list online so I can identify parts for this unit? I am most likely going to piece it out if there is any sort of market. I'd hate tossing it if other people are hunting for parts. Its model number is 486A1wh and its serial number is maz12032 its got two side/side ovens and 4 top coil burners.
