Dynasty DGRS-30-4 oven thermostat

I've got a Dynasty range, model DRGS-30-4. The oven keeps overshooting the set temperature, blowing way past it every time we use it. I want to replace the thermostat, but it's no longer being manufactured. Dvorson's, in California, seems to be the only place that has most parts for these (we've bought a couple things here and there from them over the years), but when I called them today they said that part is no longer manufactured by anyone and basically we're out of luck.

I don't want...

SGM304 Dacor Cooktop Reinstalling Burner Nuts?

We have a Dacor SGM304 cooktop. Needed to pull off top to work on microswitch. Had the special tool and the brass nuts holding burners in place came off without too much of a struggle. When reinstalling, the tops on the burners ended up level with the top of the threaded burner tubes. It took two of us pushing down on the top and burner to start each brass nut. Was careful to make sure that the burners and top were positioned correctly. Any tips or tricks for next time?

Storage Drawer Broken

So I have this VERY old Kenmore stove and the storage drawer is leaning down onto the floor in the back. Guessing there are rollers and or some kind of guides that must have broken or wore out. I need to repair this but not sure what all I need. Was looking on line for pics of one not broken but couldn't find anything. I did find a small parts pic but it's kinda hard to make out or see what parts are there. Anyone have a pic, or know what parts I need to get, and if they're still available...

Bosch HBL8750UC/11 - Oven keeps resetting time display. Oven and microwave both work.

Bosch HBL8750UC/11 - Oven keeps resetting time display. Oven and microwave both work. Replaced the oven control module and still happened. Is this an appliance issue or power surge/electrical issue?

coil pins interchangeable?

Hi there, the new coils have eyelet shaped pins. Are they interchangeable with the old coils that come with flat pins? See picture please. In addition, does the number of rings matter? The upper one seems to have more rings than the bottom one.

I’m considering to replace my 20-year-old GE JBP21WC1WW with GE JB258DMWW. But I saw too many bad reviews on the new sensi-temp coil technology. I wonder if I can reuse my old coils on the new unit?

Thanks!

What should the reset button on an old Wedgewood Stove feel like?

I've got a Wedgewood stove in pretty good shape. Four burners, griddle in the middle, oven on the right, with warming drawer below, and broiler on the left, with storage below. The two gas safety valves are at the back, below the burners, on the left and right side.

I pushed the button on the safety valve on the left, thinking it goes to the broiler, and the button feels like I'm pumping oil - very "viscous" feeling, and doesn't pop back out afterwards. I didn't want to mess with the one on...

FGF328GBG Frigidaire oven igniter glows but won’t lit

Hey

so please help... I brought a new “used” oven and I installed it.
The top works fine.... but the bake is not working.
I hit bake to 350 and the igniter glows red hot but the element bar doesn’t not lit. I smell gas so I try to lit with a lighter and it does lit with a lighter. But the flame is small and weak. iT blows out if I blow on it and if I increase the temperature no change in flame. It never gets to the right temperature.

please help I’m not sure what to replace first or to...

Bosch oven smoking when door opens.

Hello there,

I have a Bosch HBG634BB1 oven. When we cook, we open the door to check if the food is cooked. Then a huge smoke cloud comes out from the oven.

Is this normal?

Thank you

Thermador Wall Oven SC302T Elements not heating

Recently purchased a used Thermador SC302T(S) Oven ("works great"... :-( ), and when I connected it to power to test it, the display powered up and the buttons respond as expected. I can hear a fan begin running when I select either upper or lower bake, or upper or lower broil. The display shows "100(deg symbol) BAKE PREHEAT ON". What doesn't happen is any of the heating elements getting warm, even after waiting several minutes. No error codes are displayed. I verified that I...
