Six years ago we bought a 30" Viking D3 range. It was a display model - gas/dual fuel. SAMSUNG NE59J7850WS/AA ELECTRIC DUO RANGE TIMER STOPS COUNTING DOWN.
I SET THE TIMER AND IT BEGINS TO COUNT DOWN, BUT AFTER A FEW SECONDS, IT
STOPS COUNTING DOWN. CLOCK KEEPS ACCURATE TIME,

SUSPECT ITS EITHER THE DISPLAY PANEL OR MAIN CONTROL BOARD.

ANYONE ELSE ABLE TO FIX THIS?

Viking gas igniter fails 2 years after replacement

here we are two years later and one of them has failed.

there is power in the leads. But a Continuity test on the one that is not heating up shows NO continuity (the other one shows continuity).
I presume that indicates a failed igniter?

though beyond that basic question, I guess my other question is, is it reasonable that an new ignitor should fail after just 2 years (of not very heavy use")?

HBL8450UC/10 Bosch use double wall oven control board in single wall oven

I have an HBL8450UC/10 single Bosch wall oven and the main control board is pretty old with two failed relays. I got a control board from eBay, which is for a double oven of the same generation. I'd like to use it, because it is much newer. The PCB is the same but of course double the number of relays are populated. Unfortunately the board does not work in the single oven. The fan runs all the time. Is there some simple trick to convert it into a single board? How does the microcontroller...

BGRP34520SS Blomberg gas oven bake/boil not working

Hello i have a blomberg gas oven model BGRP34520SS which is only 3 years old. This has no digital display or keypads even. The bake and the broil igniters don't ignite and it never heats up. There is one on the top and bottom of the oven. I do hear some clicking once in a while after about 10 seconds but nothing heats. I did isolate the broil(igniter up top) and measured the resistance to be 162 ohms. is this too high of a value? On the blogs i have read it's okay between 80 and 180...

What am I doing wrong?

We just moved into a new house and have this Bosch oven for 2 days, and it has locked up and needed to be reset several times. It seems the panel lock button does not work. We have held it for 3 , 4, 5 seconds, a full minute, nothing. The only way to unlock it is to reset the breaker. Ok well I guess I could live with that if it didn't happen so often.
