GE monogram wall oven clicking noise

I have a GE monogram wall oven that makes a loud constant clicking noise when heating up as well as when it is cool down. I took it upon myself to try to do some repair work. What I found was a little strange. I first turned off the breaker and removed the front control panel to see if anything was unplugged then I put the panel back and tried the oven again but it was still clicking. Then I took the panel off but left the breaker on and turned on the oven. There is no clicking sound when the panel is off and the oven on, only when it is put back. What could this possibly be? Breaker, latch ?
Thank you for your help

4 Year. Old Maytag gas oven ignites and flame comes on then goes off then then ignites over and over

The range will start you hear the igniter tick several times while the gas turns on . It will ignite for about 30 seconds and then turn off. It will repeat this cycle several times. Some times it will stay on and other times it never comes back on. Other times it will heat up fully and you put the food in only to come back to find it did not stay on. I had a guy come out and adjust the igniter but this only helped for a short time.

Samsung Range - Oven poor heat

Range is approx 1 1/2 years old. Today oven part would not kick in. Range top/burners work fine. Broiler gets warm but not hot or red. The display will stay at 150 degrees and if you leave it on - slowly builds temp - 30 minutes you may get to 250-275. No matter what function you select - bake - convection - roast or broil - very limited heat. Also started noticing 3 horizontal lines to the left of the temp display going from bottom to top. Not sure I can recall ever seeing these before. Tried to get codes and not sure if I was doing it correctly but got a message saying "No EPP". The convection fan turns on and I have verified it shuts off when door is open and will turn on manually closing the door switch.

Thank you for any assistance

Dacor oven doesn't heat even though heating element is good

Hi, I have a 7 year old Dacor Millennia wall oven (Model number MSC130S) which my wife tells me takes too long to heat up.

Broil element glows red, but not the bake element. Bake element measures 25 ohms, and appears to be in good shape. Volt meter on the wires which connected to the back element before I removed it seems to transition between 4 and 40 volts.

Recommendations? Thank you

Acceptable temperature variation

So we installed the above Kenmore oven to replace a whirlpool oven that kept blowing fuses and control boards due to overheating issues, I may have even posted here about that one. Regardless, after some looking around, some people using the oven are convinced that there is too much variation in how it holds temperature. They are basing this by using an oven thermometer in it and seeing that after the initial heat cycle if 400 (or whatever) is set that that thermometer is all over the place. I realize there's some swings involved due to thermostat operation, but I'm getting the impression that this one seems to be much more chaotic. Is there a 'normal' swing range or some other calibration I can look at to see if there is an actual issue, and if so, how I can resolve it?

Whirlpool analog clock/timer will not work

I have a WP self cleaning oven with a rolling analog clock and a timer. Neither seem to operate but I am certainly getting power because the machine will heat and the range will light. I can not find the listed model number in the database but it is similar to a SF395PEPW4.

Thanks guys!

Cleaning Dirty Burner Ignitior Plugs On Frigidaire Cooktop

Cleaning Dirty Burner Ignitior Plugs On Frigidaire Cooktop Stove

Re: Frigidaire Cooktop Stove - Model LGGF3042KFR

One of the burners will not ignite because the ignitor plug is dirty. Tried cleaning it with alcohol Q-Tips but it still does not work.

I am unable to clean the rear side of the ignitor plug because the Q Tip will not get behind the plug.

Anyone know how to properly clean these ignitor plugs ? or how to disassemble the burner to access the plug ?

My stove blew up

Last night we were cooking dinner when the stove made a loud "pop" sound and automatically blew the breaker. The stove won't turn back on now. Is there even chance that my stove can be saved or should I just get a new one?

Top Appliance Tips

When installing electrical appliances, keep in mind that most standard home electrical circuits are on a 120-volt line. Conventional outlets have two places to plug in devices and are called duplex outlets. It's also important to note the quality level of your appliance(s) because the cost for installing more expensive equipment will be higher than for less expensive appliance(s). Appliance Power Requirements Check the power requirements of each appliance. To run major appliances and heavy electrical equipment, you need 220-volt current in the house. And unless your clothes dryer runs on gas, it will require a 220-volt outlet to operate, so it's necessary to upgrade to 220 to handle these and other heavy equipment. Appliance Installation When having an appliance installed, be sure it can be removed easily for service. Flexible hook-ups for dishwashers and gas ranges can make repair jobs less labor intensive. Also, leave extra electric cable when installing electric wall ovens and cooktops. This will minimize the time the technician spends on the job and reduce the cost to you. Click here if you want to install new appliances. Some other appliance installation tips to keep in mind: Dishwashers If your kitchen floor is being tiled, make sure that it is tiled beneath the dishwasher or at least raise its flooring to the same height as the tiles. Once down, there may not be enough clearance to remove the dishwasher for servicing. The only alternative will be to lift the whole countertop off of the cupboards, a needless expense.
