Oven heating slowly, changed igniter and probe

I have a Frigidaire model fgf348ksk, a couple months ago it would not heat at all so the repairman changed the control panel, now it is lighting and heats just very slowly takes 30-40 minutes to get to 300 degrees, I changed the igniter thinking that was it and it made no difference, so I next changed the sensor probe and still nothing, any advice or suggestions?

Caloric Wall Oven Pilot Ignition

Hi all,

We have a Caloric wall oven that is original to our 1950's era house. It works pretty well, so we haven't been in a hurry to replace it, but now I need to know how to light it.

Earlier this week we had a carbon monoxide alarm go ff. We called the fire department, and they shut the gas off to the house. We've cleared up the CO issue (which was the water heater vent) and had the gas company turn the gas back on. We have one line going to the kitchen with a single shut-off valve, and that is in the on position. Our same-era Caloric cooktop is working fine, but we haven't been able to light the oven back up. We don't smell any gas coming from the pilot, which makes me think that some safety device is keeping gas from reaching the pilot when it's not lit. I've attached some photos of what looks to be the pilot in the hopes that someone will recognize the system and give us some advice on how to re-light the pilot.

Edit: For some reason, it rotated the oven view 90-degrees counter-clockwise and the pilot views 180-degrees.

NX58H5600SS Samsung (gas) range some keys not working (bake, broil, clock etc)

We have a Samsung gas range model NX58H5600SS. The problem is that some of the control panel keys are not responding. Keys like Bake, Broil, Clock Self Clean doesnt work. But other keys like Roast, Pizza etc does work.

Few points to be noted:
- “control panel lock” is not locked.
- Tried disconnecting the power cable and restarting it after some time.

I really appreciate your guidance on how to go with troubleshooting this issue.

Thanks much
Ben

HDI7282U/09 Bosch dual fuel range- oven not working after electrical storm

Bosch dual fuel range- oven not working after electrical storm. One red light on control panel.

The control panel on my bosch dual fuel (electric convection oven - propane top burners) does not work after a bad electrical storm. Power supply to outlet good (240). Tried 15 minute reset at breaker box, changed the display/control panel out for a new one. One lone red light is shining on the lower left quadrant of the digital touchpad control display.
Electronic ignition for gas burners is working. Any suggestions out there before I call a technician? Going to have to eat the cost of the new display panel. I thought for sure that was the issue. thanks

KitchenAid Superba reset after PF ?

My girlfriend has a KithenAid Superba glass-top oven. Last night she was in the middle of preparing dinner, when the range stopped working. The burners just stopped responding. The oven was also going, but she had set it at 425 and it only seemed to want to go to 350. Then the oven also stopped responding. None of the buttons or dials seemed to do anything anymore. I flipped the main breaker, thinking something may have tripped it. Still nothing, but now when I turn a burner dial the entire control panel lights up for a few seconds, then a "PF" comes on.

I'm a novice, not very skilled with electric or mechanics, but can generally follow simple instructions. I just don't know what to do here, or if it is a problem way beyond my ability. Is there a basic re-set function, that I should try first, before actually calling a technician to come out and look at it?

LG LSB5611SB Oven and Range display malfunctioning

Good afternoon,

I recently purchased my home, and the stove that came with the place was immediately exhibiting problems. The previous owners attempted to fix it (in the most lackadaisical manner possible), but ended up insulting the only authorized LG repairman in our area, so now the burden has fallen unto me. I have attached the service manual for a very similar model as a reference (unable to find our model online). I work as an engineer in a chemical plant, and my days often involve troubleshooting industrial instrumentation, so this activity is not outside of my comfort zone.

The Problem:
The stove main display "lights up" all of the available options, making the screen almost unreadable. Additionally, the range display does not display the power levels correctly. I followed the troubleshooting guide in the attached service manual, but several differences in my model compared to the service manual model (primarily the difference in the Secondary power transformer harness arrangement) have made me feel unsure about the end result. Long story short, the troubleshooting guide has led me to believe that the transformer is shot and needs to be replaced.

Does anyone have a copy of the LG LSB5611SB service manual they could pass along (link to product page: http://ift.tt/2eWlFe4)? If not, I would greatly appreciate any assistance troubleshooting this matter. Please see below for more information regarding how I came to the conclusion of a damaged transformer.

Thank you!

Doxxy

TS:
Starting on page 6-1, I followed the troubleshooting guide to page 6-3 (display is not blank, stove makes beeps when pressed). I then found 122 VAC at the power inlet (although the power on my machine is connector C2, not C3). After disconnecting the power, I checked the transformer connections. This is also different, as the secondary side has three pairs (red, yellow, green) and a lone wire (blue) coming from it (feeding into a 7 slot harness) instead of simply two pairs. Now, the yellow pair fails the resistance check with 4.5 Ohms, but I cannot conclude if that is actually the root cause simply based on colour alone.

Any help is appreciated :)

Dacor PCS230B double oven heating problem

Our double oven is not heating correctly. If you try to bake at 350 it will never heat to that temperature. The display will show 350 but the oven will not be at that temp. If you put it at 400 or above it will burn everything. This happens in both of the ovens so I don't think its a heating element unless both have the same problem
