The new igniter lights up, the flame lights, but the igniter and flame shut off during the preheat. It shuts off at a different temperature every time. The highest temperature I got was 280F. If I try to reignite right away, the igniter won't light up. It will reignite after an hour has past, but it won't stay lit. The igniter is a $25 cheapo made by Supco.
