Broiler element remains on during bake cycle on Dacor DR30DIH/NG

I recently replaced the broiler element on my Dacor DR30DIH/NG. The "broil" cycle now works as expected, but unfortunately now the broiler element never deactivates during the "bake" cycle. So, the oven gets way hotter than the selected temperature.
