I have a whirlpool range that is just about 5 years old. Recently while baking something, I heard a loud noise like something spinning too fast and the offen got really smokey. The next day I went to bake and the oven would not heat. I pulled the range out and discovered quickly that the bake element had burnt out. Ordered a replacement one and installed it, and it still would not heat. The bake and broil settings would not work, even though both elements tested out fine. I checked...
