I got alot of help fixing my Kitchenaid dishwasher for excess "salt & pepper" muck on my glasses (the fix was the flapper check valve in the sump assembly - thanks for that !)

HBL8450 Bosch Oven Heating Woes -- Normal?

We are pretty frustrated because we bought a new HBL8450 oven and a new microwave (several thousand dollars worth) only 18 months ago and we’ve had numerous issues. Empava KQC65C-17 Built-in Convection Electric Oven - display problem

I have some experience with TV repairs so my friend asked me to check this oven display. On the bottom of the first pic temperature digits have some LEDs off. What parts/components could be the culprit so I can test them? Also what connectors I should use to power it on? I only have those two boards in the house, not the entire oven, but looks like it can be powered on from 110 or 220V.

Silly question I think but does a convection fan blow into the oven or suck air out?

I have a new stove and I could not hear or feel the fan so I turned it on (gas stove) and held a kleenex to the holes in the back where the fan is and it sucks the kleenex to the fan holes. I thought a convection fan blew outwards?

Bosch HGS8655UC weak broiler

I have a Bosch HGS8655UC freestanding range. I've noticed recently that the broiler is getting weaker and weaker. I took a video of the lighting process and you can see how weak the flames are. I've seen a lot of stuff on the internet about failing igniters causing safety valves not to open fully, but my igniter seems to be of a different style. Technically this unit is not under warranty any more (1 year) but only by a few months. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Kenmore Range Parts

I have a Canadian Kenmore Sears range model 880.678235R0 for which I need the outer door replaced as I shattered the glass. I am finding it difficult to find the part in Canada because no one can identify the model number or equivalent. I would really appreciate it if someone (Jake?) would help me out. Thanks.

Gaggenau EB 290 27" Oven not coming up to temperature

Hello Everyone!

I have two Gaggenau EB 290 ovens which I have owned for the past 15 some years. When we remodelled our kitchen, we built it around these ovens (I had stumbled across a spectacular deal at the time) and I adore the way these ovens bake/broil/roast/etc. I wish to keep them running for as long as possible.

Gaggenau EB 290 / 291 wall oven F 14 error

I have two Gaggenau EB 290 / 291 wall ovens and one of them beeps randomly and displays a "F 14" error code. I believe I need to replace the power module part #00268401, but it is no longer available from the manufacturer, appliance parts websites or ebay. I have even checked with circuit board repair companies, but cannot find anyone to repair it.

Does anyone know if this is the correct part to fix the F 14 error and if so, how to get ahold of the part or get it remanufactured?

HBL8650UC/10 Bosch double oven display keeps resetting

Our Bosch double oven display board keeps resetting and at first it would only happen once in a while but now it is happening all the time and it’s won’t let us cook. I’ve noticed that it also happens when you touch the “info” button. I have shut off the breaker for 30 mins in hopes it would reset the whole unit, but that only lasted a few hours. Anyone else have this problem? Thank you

Kenmore c880 676289j2 hidden bake element

Hello,

I've used the search function and came up empty.

I have a kenmore glass top oven
Model: C880676289j2
Serial: IMM2294051
Type: 30p

I'm sure the bake element is toasted and I'm no seweing how to get the back cover off to access the element.

Anyone have a manual or has worked on this model before. I feel a little over my head but maybe I'm just phsycing myself out.

SGS365ZS Thermador Cooktop clicking

I have a Thermador SGS365ZS cooktop, which is clicking while the stove is lit. I primarily use the lower right burner but have noticed this problem on the other burners as well. When I am cooking something, and the burner is set to greater than medium heat, the ignitor starts to click. This comes and goes continually and medium or higher heat. If I remove the pan/pot while the burner is on, the clicking goes away. I have replaced the igniters and the ignition device with no luck.
