I see the glow ignitor turn on after turning on the oven, but a majority of time it goes off before the gas valve opens maybe 10 to 15 seconds. My guess is the glow ignitor is bad but I want to be certain before purchasing. My other thought is if the gas valve thermal coupling is going bad...I was wondering if the glow ignitor is on a timer and is expecting to ignite the gas but if the gas valve is failing to open in time the whole sequence could be failing.
