I got alot of help fixing my Kitchenaid dishwasher for excess "salt & pepper" muck on my glasses (the fix was the flapper check valve in the sump assembly - thanks for that !)

HBL8450 Bosch Oven Heating Woes -- Normal?

We are pretty frustrated because we bought a new HBL8450 oven and a new microwave (several thousand dollars worth) only 18 months ago and we’ve had numerous issues. Empava KQC65C-17 Built-in Convection Electric Oven - display problem

I have some experience with TV repairs so my friend asked me to check this oven display. On the bottom of the first pic temperature digits have some LEDs off. What parts/components could be the culprit so I can test them? Also what connectors I should use to power it on? I only have those two boards in the house, not the entire oven, but looks like it can be powered on from 110 or 220V.

Silly question I think but does a convection fan blow into the oven or suck air out?

I have a new stove and I could not hear or feel the fan so I turned it on (gas stove) and held a kleenex to the holes in the back where the fan is and it sucks the kleenex to the fan holes. I thought a convection fan blew outwards?

Bosch HGS8655UC weak broiler

I have a Bosch HGS8655UC freestanding range. I've noticed recently that the broiler is getting weaker and weaker. I took a video of the lighting process and you can see how weak the flames are. I've seen a lot of stuff on the internet about failing igniters causing safety valves not to open fully, but my igniter seems to be of a different style. Technically this unit is not under warranty any more (1 year) but only by a few months. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Kenmore Range Parts

I have a Canadian Kenmore Sears range model 880.678235R0 for which I need the outer door replaced as I shattered the glass. I am finding it difficult to find the part in Canada because no one can identify the model number or equivalent. I would really appreciate it if someone (Jake?) would help me out. Thanks.

Gaggenau EB 290 27" Oven not coming up to temperature

Hello Everyone!

I have two Gaggenau EB 290 ovens which I have owned for the past 15 some years. When we remodelled our kitchen, we built it around these ovens (I had stumbled across a spectacular deal at the time) and I adore the way these ovens bake/broil/roast/etc. I wish to keep them running for as long as possible.
