Samsung NE595R0ABSR electric range front elements not turning down and flash from Right rear element

Landlord purchased a used stove to go in a renovated home. Upon first using it my wife and I realized both front elements will not turn down. The front elements continue to glow red no matter what setting is selected. This causes whatever your cooking to overheat of course. The landlord came by to check it out and while she was there the right rear element flashed and made an audible pop when she turned it on. It also had a burnt electrical smell. After I shut the breaker off and turned it back on it seemed to work. I turned the breaker back off just to be safe.

It seems both tear elements worked properly before the flash and pop incident.

GE Monogram 48" professional range...oven problems

We have a GE Monogram 48" Stainless Steel Professional Duel Fuel Range, Model ZDP48L4GW2SS. The 4 burners, griddle, grill, small oven, and the self clean and broiler features of the large oven all work great. HOWEVER THE LARGE OVEN BAKING FEATURE WORKs ONLY INTERMITTENTLY. The stainless is in perfect shape and everything else works fine except for the oven. We've had 2 repair professionals look at the oven...one said possibly the thermostat and the other wasn't sure. We've done a thorough search for the thermostat, but it's out of production and there aren't any available. Does anyone know if this part can be rebuilt, and who might be able to do it? It's is such good shape...it would be a shame to see it end up in a landfill. Alternatively, any leads on who might be interested in buying the range for parts?

A photo of the range is attached and thanks for any advice,

Bill

Oven stopped working: no heat, no gas smell, no errors

Hello all,

I was using my Magic Chef oven the other day for a little heat in the kitchen in the morning (don't worry, I don't run it for long like this; just long enough to take the chill off). It started warming up, then I noticed the smell of gas and it wasn't getting any hotter so I turned it off. A few minutes later I tried turning it on, it let me set the temperature, but the oven never warmed up. There's no smell of gas. There's also no error codes. It just sits at 350 or whatever temp I set it but nothing happens. No error codes are ever shown, it doesn't shut off, the preheat light stays on, and that's about it.

I've had the igniter go before but this has produced an error code the two times it died previously, the oven would beep, then turn off. I replaced it anyway but unfortunately the problem persists.

I'm not sure where to go from here. Does anyone have any suggestions? The range works fine by the way; it's only the oven that's broken.

Thanks

LG LSB5682SW oven heating problem

Hi, I'm having issues with heating the oven, it won't reach desired temperature, it stops a bit before (if I set it to 250, it stopped at 225ish, if I set 350, it stopped at 335) and then the temperature will just drop. There's no clicking sound ether.
The oven already has new bake element, temperature sensor and new PCB! Ohm readings are normal. I think the only thing left is the relay, but I'd like to check it first, I'm done with buying parts that are obviously not the culprit. How can I check the relay?
Or if you think it might be something else, please, guide me.
Thanks!

LRE30451ST LG electric range ..no power

My lg range recently lost all power while broiler being used. Through web searches, it looked like the thermostat could be bad. Here is my confusion.. based on parts/schematic the thermal fuse could be the problem. When I looked at my range there wasn’t anything in the place (rear center) shown on the schematic. Also nothing that matched it anywhere else.

Is It possible that it is somewhere else? Or that I don’t have one since mine was probabaly one of the originals.

Any help or thoughts to repair is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
