i have a double oven and for years it has worked but will beep and seems to cut the heating power off and then right back on. I have head about different issues with them but need guidance on how to test it so i can order the proper parts. We have had it looked at while new and under warranty and after that by out local repair guy. There has to a part that is not working correctly and it should be cheaper than replacing these ovens. Direction and help is needed, thanks

Miele km443

Hi,
The Miele cooktop is model KM443 (ceramic not induction around 20 years old)
I am getting error message tc42. Cooktop works fine but now emitting a very loud buzzing sound (as if you are constantly hearing the noise from pressing the buttons on the control panel). The high pitched buzz stops when I switch off the appliance power point. Can anyone tell me what happened if they have experienced the same? Call out fee to Miele is $179 just to assess then plus parts and additional time...

Miele KM443 Cooktop/Hob - TC41 upon poweron

Hi All,
Looking at repairing a Miele KM443 cooktop.
It's displaying an error TC41 when the power is turned on.
Cooktop still works ok, however emits a loud squealing nose from the speaker.
I'm thinking that maybe one of the button sensors is bad.
Has anyone worked with one of these before? Any ideas on where I could find a circuit diagram?

Oooops. shorted out the switch wiring.

boneheaded move.... maybe there is a fix or workaround.
the FAN/LIGHT switch on this JennAir disintegrated years ago and I have not been able to find a replacement.
So I just left it hanging loose in the cavity.
Last night I was fiddling in there (REMEMBER KIDS: flip the circuit breaker before playing with an electric appliance!) and the red wire (attached photo) touched the chassis and Poof! it all shorted out.

Unfortunately it was not just the circuit breaker. with that reset it still has...

RDSS30 Thermador gas range one burner won't light

I have a Thermador gas range RDSS30. The right rear burner will no longer light. It does produce a spark but I don't smell or hear any gas when turned on. The other 3 burners work fine.

Bosch HIIP054U/05 not "reaching" setpoint

This is in relation to my previous issue. When baking at higher temperatures, the oven doesn't seem to know when it gets to the set point. When I was baking this morning, I preheated to 475. The preheat on this oven takes forever, but after waiting for 20 minutes and checking it, it was at 525, but was still "preheating". I then set the temp to 450 and the oven stopped...

Frigidaire Gallery Oven Problem

I am having two issues with my oven:

1. It seems to take a long time for the stove to light once you turn it on. A few times we could smell gas and when it finally came on you hear a loud noise. Like there is a lot of gas that just ignited.

2. Today we went to use the stove and it never came up to temperature. The pre-heat light stayed on the entire time. We used a laser thermometer to check the temperature of the metal walls of the stove and they were only about 230 degrees.

HBL8650UC/10 Bosch double oven display keeps resetting

Our Bosch double oven display board keeps resetting and at first it would only happen once in a while but now it is happening all the time and it’s won’t let us cook. I’ve noticed that it also happens when you touch the “info” button. I have shut off the breaker for 30 mins in hopes it would reset the whole unit, but that only lasted a few hours. Anyone else have this problem? Thank you

Possible Fire Danger?

I have a Whirlpool Double Oven GBD307-PRS01 and have seen others post about control board repairs for it. I began disassembly today to perform the repair and noticed some hot air and cooking grease appears to have entered the control board cavity. With only sheet metal as a shield in here, I'm worried it poses a fire risk. Any advise would be appreciated. Please see pics. Thank you!

Convection oven blower issue

Hello, this is my first time here. I am not sure if you can help because this is a commercial oven, but I said I will give it a try, so thanks in advance for your time and help.

This is Duke E101 with Emerson electric motor model s63nxkal-7989, 1/2 H.P. 1725RPM 110/115V. The blower will not start by itself but it make noise (humming) so we give it a push in the CW direction, and after closing the door it starts and work perfectly.

MDGSU33E1 CHAMBERS GAS COOKTOP pilot light

Could not find a forum for Chambers. Please direct me to the proper place if you can't help me here.
One of the four electric igniters clicks once about every 2-3 minutes even tho the gas valves are off.
The drop down dialog box does not list Chambers so selected Magic Chef in order to continue with my post.

VGCC5404B Viking oven bottom ignitor will not kick on

Baking ignitor will not click or turn on. Replaced the DSI with the new improved one, also replaced Oven control. Broiler works, even can get bottom ignitor to click when broiler kicks on. What am I missing?

I have an older viking range in my house, works great but the aluminum tubing that feeds gas to the oven has developed tiny pinpoint leaks. The local appliance repair guy won't touch it because he's not authorized to work on Viking, and the local Viking dealer won't touch it because it's too old.... I went through allvikingparts.com and they were able to come up with a replacement part that looked promising (the bends are in the right place), but the whole thing is two inches too...
