Maytag MGT8885XS00 Broiler not working

The Upper Oven works just fine, but When switch to "broil", I see the ceramic igniter light up and after about 1-2 mins it makes a load buff sound and then it makes a fluttering sound, like its sucking air until you turn off the the broil, you hear a click and it turns off. I have replaced the broiler igniter and the valve assembly in the back. So at this point I am not sure what part could be causing the issue.

RLN385UL Caloric range sparking intermittently only when oven on

caloric/amana top burners spark in unison intermittantly only when oven is on. top burners work properly. oven works properly EXCEPT when on oven sparks occasionaly and top burners also(with or without spark in oven. I think there is a problem with the oven ignitor switch, and hopefully the module....anyideas?

Dacor HGPR36S oven will not maintain set temperature

We have a Dacor HGPR36S that was installed 7/25/18. We have had an ongoing problem with the oven not maintaining a set temperature e.g. set it to 350 and it will hit 440 in 20 minutes and still be at 400 after 70 minutes. We have just replaced the thermostat for the third time, which has still not rectified the problem. It's out of warranty, so Dacor don't want to help. We had a local authorized Dacor repair technician out again and he confirmed the problem and also confirmed with Dacor that...

Dacor MORS130 oven does not turn convection element on

Recently I noticed that even though I was baking in pure convection mode, the baking element on the bottom would turn on (this with the oven
at set temp).
First thing I checked was that the convection element was ok: got 25 Ohm. Next, in line was to check if the power board is working.
I put the oven in diagnostic mode (cycle power and press bake+broil with 30 s) and run the tests that turn on the convection element,
measuring the current absorbed with my amp clamp.

Kenmore range door issue

Hi, so I moved into apt that have a fridge that needed some serious cleaning. I decided to take the glass apart to clean it inside. Once I put it back together I noticed a gap between the glass and outside frame (see pics). I'm not sure if that was like this before and I don't know if this is ok. Replace Dual surface element switch

Hi all...so good to be part of this great forum. I have received help before and I hope some of you may be able to help me now. I have a Amana Smoothtop Cooktop
electric range. My surface burner control switch needs to be replaced. I have looked at all of the appliance sites and keep seeing that the switch I need is no longer available or manufactured.

My model is Amana AK2H30W3-P1131565 N W. The manufacturer/part number is 0309550. The switch is made by Harper-Wyman, made in Mexico...

Jenn Air F3 Error replaced thermostat. Thermostat and front panel J1 connection test from pin 1 and 4 (1000 ohms)

So on my Model Jenn Air range SVD48600P oven we get a F 3 error after the oven has been at 400 degrees for around 40 min. I have replaced the thermostat and the new one measures 1000 ohms. I found a wiring diagram that shows the oven thermostat wiring to the front control panel connection J1. Natural gas burner vs propane burner performance

Hi all

I have a Thermador 36" range (2 year old) that is currently on propane. My previous home we had a DCS range top that ran on Natural Gas. This Thermador range is extremely slow to heat a big pot of water for pasta for example and when it does boil and I put in the pasta it takes several minutes for the pot to return to boil. The DCS range we had previously with NG was much faster to boil and much faster to recover to a boil. Both ranges are in the 18,000 BTU per burner range.
