VDSC487-4G QS Viking oven not working

Electric primary oven range is not working. On this Viking Stove I have replaced the thermostat and I have also replaced the main bottom burner. And still no luck.
This problem was noticed after a self-cleaning. Late at night when the oven was not being used we may have heard a loud pop.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

oven door not sealing tightly

The door on our Jenn-Air (made by Maytag apperently, per the model # tag) is not sealing tightly.
reading up here (and elsewhere) it seems that the #1 cause of this problem is tired door hinge springs?
before I drop $75 on a pair of new hinges, I thought I would just double check that diagnosis here (on the only appliance repair source that I trust.)

is there something a fresh spring hinged door should do (like snap crisply closed the last inch) that I can test that mine is NOT doing...

Viking oven not working

Gas maytag oven delayed ignition, failing to stay at temperature

I see the glow ignitor turn on after turning on the oven, but a majority of time it goes off before the gas valve opens maybe 10 to 15 seconds. My guess is the glow ignitor is bad but I want to be certain before purchasing. My other thought is if the gas valve thermal coupling is going bad...I was wondering if the glow ignitor is on a timer and is expecting to ignite the gas but if the gas valve is failing to open in time the whole sequence could be failing. Broiler element remains on during bake cycle on Dacor DR30DIH/NG

I recently replaced the broiler element on my Dacor DR30DIH/NG. The "broil" cycle now works as expected, but unfortunately now the broiler element never deactivates during the "bake" cycle. So, the oven gets way hotter than the selected temperature.

Propane cooktop - one burner randomly goes out

My Whirlpool Combo oven (WOC95EC0AS03) has a burnt out bulb in teh backing oven.I am trying to buy a replacement from Amazon but i am not able to find the correct size of teh bulb. i have tried multiple bulbs ,the base is either too small or too large. Started upper oven and it was working. Tried to start lower oven and it not only didn’t start but it shut down upper oven. Control panel when blank. Tried to restart upper oven and the panel goes blank once you hit the “start” button.

MCS130S Dacor oven doesn't heat even though heating element is good

Hi, I have a 7 year old Dacor Millennia wall oven (Model number MSC130S) which my wife tells me takes too long to heat up.

Broil element glows red, but not the bake element. Bake element measures 25 ohms, and appears to be in good shape. Volt meter on the wires which connected to the back element before I removed it seems to transition between 4 and 40 volts.

The oven went out on my circa-1999 Moffat electric range. (Moffat is a member of the GE brand family in Canada.) With "bake" selected the oven warms but does not heat and the indicator oven light doesn't activate. With "broil" selected the indicator light comes on, but zero heat.

Am I right to diagnose this as a failure of the 3-wire thermostat?

Anyone have advice on an affordable replacement part? The original part -- GE WG02F05823 -- appears to no longer be available.
