Kenmore electric oven smells of burnt plastic

Have an about 8 year old Kenmore model 790.97473800 and for the last month or so we get a kinda burning plastic smell when using the oven. I pulled the bottom tray over the lower element off and its clean down there and nothing abnormal looking. Took the back off and all the wires look good, continuity tested the elements and they test good. The only thing maybe caught my eye was one of the holes the the wires passed through the insulation to the oven light was a little darker. Is there something you can think of that might be worth looking at to fix this smell?

Gas range pre heats but burner goes out after reaching pre heat

Kenmore range burner goes out after preheat temp reached. It does not come back on. It has a new igniter I cannot tell if it is the temperature sensor, control board, or oven safety valve. Anyone come across this problem with Kenmore gas range before. What was the solution? Thanks in advance for replies

Samsung Dishwasher cycle/drain issue

Newish Samsung dishwasher issue. Dishwasher not draing or cleaning. I ran thru diagnostics. i only came up with one error. blinking Heavy and blinking Quick LEDs the service sheet says this points to

1)particles in water supply valve
2) case sensor part leakage
3) main pba...control board error

The control board was replaced before I got there...i.e. new control board

Looking for help...is it inlet valve, a sensor, or something else. I am new to this failure.

NE58H9970WS Samsung induction range not holding oven temperature

I have the NE58H9970WS samsung induction range. Bought March 2016. Oven hasn't worked properly since we bought it. Preheats fine to lets say 425. You then put food in it and temp drops to 350 because door was opened. It quickly regains to about 378 and then just starts dropping again all the way to 350 and after one hour, it has only come back up to 358. We've already replaced the main control board, the sensor and the lower heating element but the problem remains. I can hear the clicking telling the heating element to come on and then it seems to click again right away to turn it back off. The heating element does come on but only for a moment and then gets turned off again. Service technicians can't figure it out.
This does not appear to be a problem at lower temperatures of let's say 325 or 350.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Also, where could I get a service manual for this model?

Broil element

My broil element doesn't come on, either with oven preheat or with broil. I installed a new element and made no difference. I can hear it clicking when it cycles on preheat. When I turn on broil only the bottom element comes on.

HBL5451UC Bosch 500 series electric wall oven not reaching temperature

I have a Bosch HBL5451UC (500 series) electric wall oven that was working fine until a couple of months ago, though it did always seem somewhat slow to reach temperature.

Now it won't reach any temperature above about 325F - the "preheating" indicator stays on (for hours). The most obvious cause would seem to be a heating element (there's two that I know of, the broiler and the hidden one), but I've checked both of those out and they seem fine, both visually and resistance measured with a multimeter.

If I turn the broiler on, it gets red hot, so that's obviously working. On oven preheat, neither is red hot, though as far as I can tell (holding my hand close) both seem to get at least warm.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Samsung NE597N0PBSR E-84 Error (second time)

I've got a Samsung NE597N0PBSR induction range that's got an "all stop" (nothing works) error code E-84. The first occurrence was while under manufacturer warranty and it took the bumbling subcontractors 2 visits to figure out "that's a real error code!" and eventually they escalated to a higher level guy who replaced an entire main board. The entire process took over a month due to their scheduling restrictions and ordering replacement parts.

Now I'm getting the same error code for a second time, just over a year later. This time I'm out of mfg warranty, but I'm covered by a Sears Master Protection Agreement (this is in a rental apartment and I'm a remote owner so I don't mind paying extra to have the warranty guys on call). I'm concerned that when calling they literally did not have E-84 listed as an error code (again).

I have not found this to be a common error online (correct me if I'm missing some obvious slew of people with the same issue), so I'm wondering what's going on. It's super weird to have the same thing happen twice (different tenants in each case; and both were very light users of the unit). Perhaps someone here can enlighten me about what E-84 is?

Also, I'm quite willing to work on / repair this unit myself when I'm around. I'll be there in a week and if I could get my hands on a service manual I'd love to download it. Anyone know where to find those? I can't even find them for sale (let alone free download).
