Have an about 8 year old Kenmore model 790.97473800 and for the last month or so we get a kinda burning plastic smell when using the oven. I pulled the bottom tray over the lower element off and its clean down there and nothing abnormal looking. Took the back off and all the wires look good, continuity tested the elements and they test good. The only thing maybe caught my eye was one of the holes the the wires passed through the insulation to the oven light was a little darker. Is there something you can think of that might be worth looking at to fix this smell?
