After reading this forum I did some voltage measuring.
1. The element ohm's out good
2. Wiring including pigtail ohms out good.
3. Oven plugged in...no broiler or bake selected - L1 to L2 = 120v L1 to Bake = 120v L1 to Broil = 120v
4. Turned oven to BAKE (keep in mind bake element works) L1 to L2 = 240v L1 to Broil = 240v L1 to Bake = 0v....yes 0v.
5. Turned oven to Broil - L1 to L2 = 240v L1 to Broil = 240v L1 to Bake = 240v
Something is amiss here. But the readings I took were done twice. Actually on the third time around I wrote everything down.
Just wasted money on broil element (around $100.00) and don't want to throw any more money at it until I get some advice.
Thank you
